ABOUT RESEARCH OPEN MIC: Mimicking the first-come\, first-serve and informal nature of an open mic\, Research Open Mic gives anyone at MICA the opportunity to share a research project they are currently working on. Each open mic features 3-4 presenters\, presentations are 10 mins each\, and Q&amp\;A follows. These presentations do not need to be solely academic projects&ndash\;we welcome opportunities for artists and designers to showcase the importance of research in their studio practice. Research Open Mic has given students\, staff\, and faculty a chance to share their work\, find like-minded people\, and learn more about the diversity of research activities happening on campus.
