Over its 200-year history, much has changed at MICA, but one thing remains constant: the innovative work our students and faculty have done in the school’s classrooms. That work grows stronger as the student body diversifies. Looking back in the archive, it’s clear how the campus and curriculum have changed over time. Still, a few central ideas have remained constant: drawing is integral to the school’s curriculum; the library, though it has moved many times over the years, was always an essential resource for MICA students, faculty and staff; and the college has always explored the potential of new technologies. This exhibition highlights MICA students' work in our bicentennial year and reflects these traditions.
