Decker Library's first Research Open Mic, October 17th from 12-1pm in the first floor of the library will feature presentations from MICA students, staff, and faculty! The lineup for our October Open Mic includes: Kai Nunnally with “Ready-made Fabric and the Development of Black American Style,” Hugh Pocock with “Saltmaking,” Rachel Rusk with “Living Forms: Bioart and DigiFab as Co-Creative Tools,” and Mo Kessler with “Following Threads and Mapping Movements.” Research Open Mics, every third Friday of the month during the Fall and Spring semesters, are open to all members of the MICA community to share a research project they are currently working on. Share your work, find like-minded people, and learn more about the diversity of research activities (academic and creative) happening on campus.
