Join MICA Icons for inspired conversations and an exploration of iconic thoughts on MICA’s 200-year legacy, their presence in the art world, and wonder, wit, and wisdom that foster artistic excellence, integrity, and humanity.

This event will take the form of a moderated panel discussion featuring Joyce J. Scott, Amy Sherald, and Lowery Stokes Sims, PhD, offering insight into their creative practices, careers, and impact. Registered attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance, which may be incorporated into the conversation.

Featuring an introduction by President Cecilia M. McCormick, J.D., and remarks by Leslie King-Hammond, PhD.
