Join us for the annual Graduate Pie Party!

The Graduate Pie Party is the premier event of the fall semester. It is our annual Holiday Party and Grad Pie Contest! The Grad Pie Contest Grab your lucky oven mitt, because the competition is fierce this year! Graduate students may enter homemade pies in either or both of our two categories, SWEET and SAVORY. Only one entry per category, per student - that's a maximum of two pies per student.

Store-bought pies will be destroyed on sight. You don't have to have a pie to get in, but you're gonna need one to win! Contest Registration takes place from 6:00pm - 7: 00pm. Submit your ready-to-be-tasted pies live and in-person to the registration table in BBOX (Gateway) along with a completed Official Entry Form (attached). Judging will begin promptly at 7:00 pm. No late entries accepted!!!

Our well-groomed panel of judges will put it all on the line to sample and rate each of your creations. Prizes will be awarded for Best SWEET Pie, Best SAVORY Pie, Best VEGAN pie, and Best GOOD LOOKING Pie (Best Presentation). The most coveted award - the Grand Champion Trophy- will go to the program that has the most and highest-ranking pies. This is calculated by the number of entries in relation to program size, and the quality of the individual pies. That's right, participation counts! The winning program will display the Grand Champion Trophy in their program space for one year, earning a year's worth of bragging rights. So, put on your ugliest holiday sweater and get ready to party!
