We all have the tendency to gather things - photographs, books, slips of paper, memories, regrets - these things form unwitting collections. This tendency can lead to constructive ends - brick-by-brick building towers, homes, streets - or can be entirely without purpose. Accumulation has many forms, and many ends, from a dragon guarding its hoard, to the library itself, stocking knowledge to share. This show reflects the myriad ways we accumulate in our lives and the ends it can reach.
Join us for our opening reception to celebrate Decker Library's first all-campus exhibit.
