This year marks 11 years since the Baltimore Uprising, and off-campus you can still see its echoes on every city block. Last year, Dr. S Rasheem began a series called the Baltimore Legacy Project, which hears from the leaders and witnesses of vital points in Baltimore history in their own words.

The first installment of that project, Baltimore Still Rising, delves into the events leading up to and immediately following the Baltimore Uprising, and the long-term policy and organizing work that continues today.
