The Center for Creative Citizenship offers three grants:
- Community Engagement Grant - funding for community-engaged art and/or design projects that emerge from a compelling community-identified need. Projects located in Baltimore City and are a collaboration between community-based organizations and MICA affiliates are strongly preferred.
- Curriculum Enhancement Grant - support for faculty to innovate within the curriculum while contributing to the greater knowledge and understanding of the Baltimore community. This funding is to enrich hands-on learning and is intended for opportunities inside credit-bearing courses that provide students with real-world experiences that they would otherwise miss within the confines of the classroom.
- Y.L. Hoi Memorial Award - funding for undergraduate and graduate students developing projects that use art and design practice and thinking to create a new paradigm for racial understanding, equity, and inclusion.
