F-1 Internship Orientation

Students will complete multiple modules and simple quizzes to better understand MICA’s internship policies and the registration process. F-1 international students have an additional module that covers work authorization for interning in the United States.

Once the Internship Orientation is complete, students are given access to the Internship Learning Agreement in MICAnetwork, which registers their internship experience for school credit. Internship Learning Agreements should be submitted and approved before students begin their internship.

Students only need to complete the Orientation once during their time at MICA, even if completing multiple internships.

Career Development recommends students complete the Internship Orientation as they begin applying to opportunities.
