Log into HOME@MICA to complete the housing application!

  • Housing Application Opens: Monday, February 23, 2026

  • Housing Application Priority Deadline: Friday, March 27, 2026

Room Selection Opening Dates

  • Monday, April 13, 2026: Room Selection opens for residents with housing accommodations

  • Tuesday, April 14, 2026: Room Selection opens for required on campus residents

  • Thursday, April 16, 2026: Room Selection opens for optional on campus students

  • Thursday, April 30, 2026: Room selection closes for returning residents

  • Wednesday, July 1, 2026: Last Chance Room Selection opens for returning residents

  • Wednesday, July 15, 2026: Last Chance Room Selection closes for returning residents

  • Wednesday, July 15, 2026: Deadline for Exemption Requests

How to Complete Your Housing Application

  1. Log into LIVE@MICA
  2. Access the Housing Application using one of the following methods:
    1. Locate the “apply for housing” option under the “Recommended Actions” section
    2. Locate then Housing overview” option under the Housing Section of the green menu on the left side of the screen
  3. Once you have completed step 2.1 or 2.2 above, be sure to check the following on the screen:
    1. The semester to make sure it matches the semester you will move into the residence hall (Fall Semester - August; Spring Semester - January)
    2. The deadline. Applications will not be accepted after the stated deadline.

Once the information is verified as correct, click “Apply”

Once you have accessed the application, complete it in 3 easy steps:

Step 1: Complete Your Resident Profile

Once on this page, you will see there is information that has been prepopulated. Any information that is not able to be edited will be grayed out. All information that is not grayed out is able to be edited. It is mandatory that you upload a photo of yourself. The Office of Residence Life will do a photo audit. Any resident that does not have a photo of themselves will be informed that they need to update their photo. You will not be able to update your profile without a photo.

Step 2: Complete Your Application Form

For this step, you will complete all the following:

  • Provide emergency contact information
  • Let us know if you have any housing accommodations, or if you plan to apply for housing accommodations with the Office of Accessibility and Disability Services (ADS)
  • Let us know your preference for room type, and answer the lifestyle questions in order to help us pair you with suitemates and/or a roommate (if you live in a double)

Step 3: Submit Application

For this step you will need to click on the link labeled “Terms & Conditions file” where you will read and review the Housing Agreement. Once you have read the Housing Agreement, you will then agree to the terms and conditions and confirm that all of the information you provided is correct. Once the boxes have been checked off, click “submit application”



Student Staff/Residential Advisor Housing Sign Up Process

  • If you are applying to be a Residential Advisor and/or hope to live with a Residential Advisor, you are still required to complete a Housing Application.  

  • All confirmed Residential Advisors will receive information regarding room assignment and apartment mate information via email from the Residential Communities Professional Team.
