Wendell Supreme Shannon is a fine artist, muralist, and designer whose bold geometric abstractions reflect life’s milestones and transformations. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Baltimore, his journey into art was shaped by resilience—during his sophomore year at Morgan State University, he was diagnosed with Dermatomyositis and Rheumatoid Arthritis, losing the use of his hands for two years. Through treatment and art as therapy, he discovered his calling.
In 2011, after regaining his health, Shannon created his first painting Re-Joyce and launched his company, Solely Supreme. Over the years, he has developed a signature style he calls Perfectionism—a precise interplay of vibrant colors, bold shapes, and meticulous lines that guide viewers through visual narratives of growth and possibility.
Shannon’s work spans national and international exhibitions, large-scale murals, and community projects, merging fine art with design collaborations for brands and institutions. A mentor as much as a creator, he continues to invest in young artists while expanding his own practice. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Business of Art and Design at MICA, Shannon evolves his vision with the mission to inspire others to navigate life’s changes through art.
