Steph Kotula is a product designer with seven years of experience working with clients like Marriott, Salesforce, and Epic Games. After graduating from RIT’s New Media Design program in 2018, Steph joined Portland-based design agency Instrument, where she worked across brand, product, strategy, and design systems.

In 2021, she became the first designer at a health-tech startup, building a team and designing mobile and web apps from the ground up. She later joined Luxury Presence, a Series B real estate startup, where she crafted high-impact tools for real estate agents. As of 2025, Steph is a Lead Product Designer at NOVA, where she designs experiences that help freelance creatives showcase work, connect with clients, and get paid.

Alongside industry work, Steph began teaching design at Portland State University in 2020 and has loved teaching ever since, continuing to teach and mentor students entering the product design field.

Based in Brooklyn, NY, Steph balances city life with time outdoors and enjoys staying active through soccer, skiing, and biking.
