Soonk Paik is a product designer and educator focused on data visualization, systems thinking, and the intersection of design and emerging technology. He leads design initiatives at Deloitte that improve collaboration and product delivery efficiency across global teams.
He teaches data visualization at Parsons School of Design and the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), guiding students to think critically about clarity, narrative, and impact in visual communication.
Soonk Paik is a data visualization designer having various backgrounds - interior design, data visualization and chemical engineering. He holds bachelor degree in Interior Design, Engineering and master's degree in Data Visualization. He has work experiences ranging from chemical engineering, interior design to UI/UX design in both New York and Seoul.
He always exposes himself toward stimuli to widen his creative horizon. He is a strong believer that creativity stems from what you have seen and one's creativity stops growing when the one stops being inspired.
He loves cooking, cycling, tennis, playing piano, clubbing, travel etc. He has infinite kinds of hobbies which never stop him from exploring the universe. He will keep exploring new hobbies that would nurture his soul. He loves people, animal but not bugs.
