Maude Kasperzak ’11 (Painting BFA) calls herself a “creative facilitator” whose work expands far beyond the canvas and palette. 

In addition to being a working painter and fine artist, she is part of the ambitious team at Baltimore’s Charm City Cakes since 2012. Recently her decorating work and process was recognized at the MICA Bicentennial Celebration: Fête of Lights Gala to celebrate the College’s 200th anniversary.

In 2019 Kasperzak created MUDE Studios, an accessories and homegoods business specializing in hand-painted, ethically produced goods. Her products have been sold around the world through the e-commerce platform Wolf & Badger, as well as in retail shops in Baltimore, MD.
