Marylou Fusco is a Baltimore-based writer who believes the arts can serve as a catalyst for community building and transformation. Her writing has appeared in Carve, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Pop Matters, Mutha and numerous literary journals. Her short stories have won the Philadelphia City Paper and the feminist literary journal, So to Speak's fiction contests. She has a BA in Journalism from St. Bonaventure University and an MA in Creative Writing/English from Temple University. She is the author support coordinator at Yellow Arrow Publishing, a nonprofit that publishes and supports female-identifying writers.
