Maker Space / Dolphin Design Center

Building your vision takes the right tools and plenty of space to grow. We provide what you need to get there.

Architectural Design work spaces on the fifth floor of the Dolphin Design Center have sweeping views of midtown Baltimore

Art school is about mastering the fundamentals: wood to canvas to film, and anything that makes an interesting mark. But in an age of augmented reality and 3D printing, artists need to be familiar with more tools than before.

That's why Dolphin Design Center was created specifically for designers in the 21st century, with state-of-the-art fabrication and design spaces that support the multidisciplinary ways creative makers work. Home to the B.F.A. programs in Architectural Design, Game Design, Interactive Arts, and Product Design, the Dolphin Design Center provides students with the materials and tools they need to design and make whatever they can imagine.
