 Linda Whelihan began her career teaching students with learning differences. She designs engaging programming with an emphasis on arts integration and thrives on collaborating with others. Her work as a teaching artist sparks the creative spirit with the goal of strengthening community. Linda completed her Masters in Art Education at MICA (2012) and has taught all ages of students from toddlers to senior citizens as a teaching artist, museum educator and art teacher. She recently received a Fulbright grant and spent 6 months in Kenya partnering with the Mara Elephant Project and schools in the Maasai Mara. She is excited to connect communities here and in Kenya, highlighting the wonder of the natural world while promoting sustainability and responsible stewardship.
