Lila Stone specializes in modern and contemporary art history with a focus on craft and 20th century German modernism. She earned a BA in German and an MA in Art History, both from the University of Florida, where she was awarded a U.S. Department of Education Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship in the Advanced Study of German. At MICA, she teaches Modernisms.
