To students, staff, and faculty,

For members of our community returning to campus this week—including students moving into residence halls and faculty and staff members who may be returning to on-campus work, welcome back to MICA! And a very warm welcome to all students who will be on MICA's campus for the first time.

The residence hall move-in process has begun and is going along smoothly. More information can be found here.

Our COVID testing program is also up and running as planned in Gateway. More information and the testing schedule can be found here.

Please look for further updates and information sharing about the campus and COVID health protocols later this week.

Finally, while we don’t have all of the details to share yet, we would like to mention a promising development relating to vaccine administration in Maryland. High-ranking staff from the Governor’s Office have informed the Maryland Independent College and University Association (MICUA) that higher education faculty and staff will be included in Phase 1B—the state’s current phase. We know this is very important to the MICA community and we will provide updates as soon as more specific information becomes available.
