Elizabeth Holden Wagenheim joined the Humanistic Studies department in 2012 and is currently serving as its Chair.

She holds Masters Degrees in Fine Arts (Creative Writing) and Curriculum Design/Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

Elizabeth's professional interests include program design and evaluation and intercultural communications. Her teaching and teacher-training have taken her to such places as Romania, Hungary, El Salvador, and Senegal. She is dedicated to MICA's internationalization and the shared responsibility of all members of the college community (both domestic and international) in making MICA a welcoming and vibrant place.
