Dr. Christine Lee Chiang brings over 20 years of industry experience in user experience (UX) design and research to her role as a faculty member at MICA. Before transitioning to academia, she held senior design and leadership positions at companies including IBM, Amazon, and Dell EMC, where she led design and research teams across the U.S., Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and the Philippines. Her work focused on aligning human-centered design with enterprise business goals, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and mentoring high-performing teams.
She holds an Executive Doctor of Business Administration (EDBA) from Saint Mary’s College of California. Her doctoral studies deepened her expertise in the intersection of design, business strategy, and organizational decision-making. Dr. Lee is passionate about preparing students for careers in UX by bringing real-world industry insight into the classroom and fostering the critical thinking and leadership skills essential for today’s design professionals.
