Good morning,

Thank you for complying with the flu vaccine requirement we announced earlier this academic year. 

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) defines flu season as occurring in the fall and winter with flu activity peaking between December and February. Moreover, seasonal influenza activity in the United States remains lower than usual for this time of year. As such, we are no longer requiring proof of flu vaccination in order to be on MICA’s campus. Staff, faculty and vendors who have not yet returned to campus but who may be approved to do so in the next several months will not need to obtain a flu shot for the current 2020-2021 flu season.
