Alumni, Faculty, Staff Join Juried Regional Exhibition at Phillips Collection

Twelve MICA alumni, faculty, and staff are among 48 artists selected for Tomorrow Will Also Rise, a juried regional exhibition at The Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C. Chosen from 1,500 applicants from Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, the artists explore the complexities of the contemporary world while high-lighting themes of beauty, resilience, and determination.

MICA participants are: Mark Armbruster ’92 (Photography BFA), Hannah Atallah ’26 (Rinehart School of Sculpture MFA), Aliana Grace Bailey ’20 (Community Arts MFA), Sasha Baskin ’14 (Drawing BFA), Thea Canlas ’06 (Fiber BFA), Aishwariya Chandrasekar (staff), Erin Fostel ’04 (Drawing BFA), Kyle Hackett ’13 (Hoffberger School of Painting MFA), Kei Ito ’16 (Photographic & Electronic Media MFA; faculty), Ringo Lisko ’24 (Rinehart School of Sculpture MFA), Katie O’Keefe ’14 (Fiber BFA; staff, preparator), and Melissa Sutherland Moss ’25 (Studio Art MFA; faculty). Tomorrow Will Also Rise is on view through Sept. 20, 2026.
