This list of next steps can help you plan ahead. We can act as your liaison with other offices. Stay in touch and let us know your questions.

Visit Campus

Even if you have already been to MICA, visiting again now that you have been admitted will give you and your family an even better sense of what life and study at MICA is really like. Weekend and weekday opportunities are available:  Check out these visit options.

Apply for On-Campus Housing...

Complete our online housing application, housing agreement, and meal plan enrollment form on or before your Candidate Reply Deadline:

Early Action admitted transfers - Candidate Reply Deadline: May 1, 2019 

Regular Decision admitted transfers - Candidate Reply Deadline: May 18, 2019

Please note that transfer housing applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis and spaces may be limited.

Notify MICA of Your Decision/Make Your Tuition and Housing Deposits

As soon as you know you have decided to attend MICA, make it official!

Deposits can be paid online at mica.edu/deposit, sent by check, or completed by wire transfer at mica.peertransfer.com.

Early Action admitted students: Fill out and return the Declaration of Intent form (found in your admission folder). Your tuition deposit ($450) and if living on campus, your housing deposit ($550) are due on or before your Candidate Reply Deadline: May 1, 2019

Regular Decision admitted students: Fill out and return the Declaration of Intent form (found in your admission folder). Your tuition deposit ($450) and if living on campus, your housing deposit ($550) are due on or before your Candidate Reply Deadline: May 18, 2019

Scholarship offers and financial aid awards must also be accepted,  and forms signed and postmarked no later than your candidate reply deadline.

Make Your Travel Plans

Transfer On-Campus Move-In Date is Friday, August 23, 2019
Transfer On-Campus Orientation is Saturday, August 24, 2019
First Day of Classes is Monday, August 26, 2019

Registration for Fall Classes

Transfer students who have paid their tuition deposit will be emailed by the Academic Advising Transfer Specialist regarding scheduling procedures:

Starting June 1 for Transfer Early Action admitted students. 

Starting June 18 for Transfer Regular Decision admitted students. 

Priority will be given to students by date of deposit. 

Activate Your mica.edu Email Account

After June 1 (for admitted Early Action students) and after June 18 (for admitted Regular Decision students) instructions for setting up your MICA email will be sent to your personal email address currently on file.  Once your account is activated, all official college correspondence will go directly to your mica.edu email address.
