Bora Shin '04 (10:00 a.m.)

Bora Shin is a multi-disciplinary designer based in the Bay area. She currently leads a visual interaction team that focuses on Smart TV experiences at Samsung. Over the years, she championed design within both public and private organizations by leading teams with user-centered point-of-view and socially responsible standards.

Aleksandra Bogunovic '13 (10:30 a.m.)

As CEO of Aerothreads, Aleksandra Bogunovic leads a woman-owned small business in College Park, Maryland that specializes in the design, fabrication and installation of Multi-Layer Insulation blankets that protect spacecraft hardware from the harsh environment of space. Jerrell Gibbs '20 (11:30 a.m.)

Gibbs’ paintings are acts of resistance; asserting power over visual stereotypes. He paints the Black male figure with adornments, such as flowers, and contextualizes them in moments of peace, rest and solitude. These gestures function to dismantle the visual mis-representatiaon of violence, trauma and pain. Jerrell's work is in the permanent collection of the Columbus Museum of Art, CC Foundation, X Museum, Baltimore Museum of Art, and the Los Angeles Museum of Art.
