Kristen Drummond

Kristen Drummond Ed. D. is the Director of Student Life in MICA’s Center for Student Engagement and Division of Student Affairs. With 20 years of higher education experience, ranging from sports management, to conduct case management, to student government advising, Kristen has been a pillar in the Student Affairs community. Kristen serves as an advisor to the Student Voice Association (SVA) and other campus student leaders. Kristen additionally has oversight of Judicial Affair operations, while also supervising the Center for Student Engagement’s main operations. In her free time, Kristen enjoys traveling, singing and all things sports related.

Vicky Wang

Vicky Wang M. Ed. is the Associate Director of Student Engagement at MICA’s Center for Student Engagement (CSE). She leads the iLead Program, coordinating training and development for student leaders, and advises several key student-led initiatives including the MICA Program Board and the Student Space Gallery Program. Vicky works closely with student leaders, faculty advisors, and campus partners to create inclusive and engaging experiences that foster student leadership, creativity, and community across campus.

Nico Tackenberg

Nico Tackenberg ’23 is the Student Involvement Specialist at MICA’s Center for Student Engagement (CSE). A proud MICA alum with a BFA in Game Design, Nico brings creativity and collaboration to student programming and community building. They oversee student organizations, coordinate Fall and Spring Undergraduate Orientation, and manage Plan-It, the centralized resource for event and equipment needs. Passionate about student life, they’re proud to give back to the community that shaped them.

Katie Sweet

Katie Sweet ’25 is the Administrative Assistant in the Center for Student Engagement (CSE). A Pennsylvania native, Katie joined MICA in 2021 and quickly became active in campus life through the Student Voice Association and multiple leadership roles, including Office Assistant, Orientation Leader, Student Orientation Director, Program Manager, and Program Director within CSE. In her current role, Katie oversees the Office Assistant cohort, supports daily operations, manages posting policy, and coordinates major events such as MICA’s annual iLead Leadership Awards and bi-annual Destress Week. Outside of work, she enjoys video games, reading, and watching football (go birds!).
