The Graduate Research Lab's digital print facilities offer students the chance to make fine art digital prints while working with trained student staff members. The lab maintains two large format Epson inkjet printers. The larger of the two printers can print up to 44 inches wide by 5 to 6 feet in length. The print lab and the Lab's proofing stations are color managed to insure consistent output.

When you are ready to have your image printed in the Grad Lab it is best to bring the file to one of the dedicated work stations to soft proof. Instructions are available for help with this process. This method allows you to see a simulated version of what your image will look like with the paper, ink, and color profiling settings you choose. Once you have proofed, make an appointment or walk-in. Bring your tiff or other high resolution image on a jump drive along with your MICA card for payment, to begin working with the lab tech on duty to finish the process and have your image printed.

The Print Lab has an Epson 9880, 9900 and 7900

Some of the paper regularly stocked include:
Epson's Enhanced Matte, Luster, and Glossy
As well as  Museo's Rag and Silver Rag papers

Pricing varies based on paper type, image size and ink usage and are determined by the square footage of the print. Drop by the lab and checkout our printing information posters first hand.

We can accept payment using your MICARD Flex account. Please make sure you have enough money on your account before coming to print.
