Jonathan Erwin

Former Robert W. Deustch Social Design Fellow, Jonathan Erwin blends social design with his background in architecture and urban planning. In addition to operating boomco, an engagement design consultancy, he teaches in MICA's M.B.A./M.A. in Design Leadership program. 

As a MA in Social Design (MASD) alum and Robert W. Deustch Social Design Fellow for 2013-2014, Jonathan Erwin '13 continues to blend social design with his background in architecture and urban planning. His work balances and connects top down bureaucracy of government initiatives with on the ground grassroots organizations in an effort to create and foster environmental resilience in diverse communities.  He recently spoke at Architecture for Humanity’s Design Like You Give a Damn LIVE! conference in San Francisco.

Since graduating from MICA, Erwin has gone of to teach in the College's M.B.A./M.A. in Design Leadership program as well as operate boomco, an engagement design consultancy
