MFA, Curatorial Practice

Class of 2014

Caitlin Tucker-Melvin was born and raised in Southern New Jersey. In 2011, she received a BFA in Curatorial Studies at Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and an MFA in Curatorial Practice at MICA. During her time at Moore, Tucker-Melvin curated an exhibition of works by Gordon Matta-Clark. She has interned at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Marginal Utility in Philadelphia, and Jonathan LeVine Gallery in New York. She currently lives in Baltimore and works as an Education Assistant at the Walters Art Museum. Her current obsessions include Gabriel Garcia Marquez's In Evil Hour and the paintings of Imi Knoebel and Philip Guston.
