Thanks to everyone who participated in the Edible Book Fest. The entries were creative and we look forward to next year!
Here are the winners
Funniest/Pun-niest - The Catcher in the Rye - Quite a few attendees got a bang out of this entry, a molded chocolate and peanut butter catcher skewered into rye bread by Mary Alessi.
Least Edible - Gone with the Wind - A Southern take on red velvet cake by Marianne Sade. Many attendees wondered, "Where shall I go to get a slice?" Frankly, we didn't know either.
Most Appetizing - Marcel Proust's In Search of Lost Time - A tea-scented madeleine cake with manuscript reproduction frosting by Kathy Cowan.
Best in Show - On Love and Barley - Sushi in book form, with layers of rice, avocado, cucumber, carrot and tomago between nori “pages” by Chris Hurley
Léger by Stephanie Garmey
