WESTNORTH Studio Gallery's 'NuVoodoo' Exhibition Complements the 'Transformations' Conference

BALTIMORE--The exhibition, NuVooDoo, features work by Joyce J. Scott '70, Oletha DeVane '73, William Rhodes, Richard Yarde, Roy Crosse and Loring Cornish, Thursday, Oct. 22-Thursday, Nov. 12 at WESTNORTH Studio Gallery (106 W. North Ave.). A reception takes place Sunday, Oct. 25, noon-4 p.m.

NuVoodoo is proudly presented in association with Transformations: New Directions in Black Art, the third Conference for African American Art, presented through the Center for Race and Culture at MICA and W.E.B. Dubois Institute for African and African-American Research at Harvard University.

Venue hours during the run of the show are Wednesday-Friday, noon-6 p.m., Saturday-Sunday, by appointment. Call NuVoodoo curator Amy Raehse at 443-850-1015 for an appointment.
