In the April 2010 issue of Print magazine, an article about Oliver Munday '07 (click here) talks about his creative processes and unique approaches to illustration and design. Since graduating from MICA in 2007, he has completed more than 50 illustrations for The New York Times and has designed two book covers, both due out this year. Accompanying the article are six of his works, including the poster he designed for Angela Davis' MICA visit.
Another article (click here), written by M.F.A. in Graphic Design Director Ellen Lupton, teaches a technique first introduced by Alex F. Osborn in 1953: manipulative verbs. She illustrates her story with a series of images that visually explain the technique.
