BALTIMORE - Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) this weekend presents the Graduate Art Sale, an opportunity for the public to tour studios and purchase work by artists of the Hoffberger School of Painting, Mount Royal School of Art, Graduate Photography and Digital Imaging Program, and Rinehart School of Sculpture.

All of the approximately 45 artists participating in the June 7-8 annual sale, which takes place noon-4 p.m. both days, have recently completed a master's program at MICA or are entering the second year of graduate level studies. Buyers can purchase work with cash or check. The entire purchase price goes directly to the individual artist.

Artists will sell work in Studio Center, a renovated loft building in the Station North Arts & Entertainment District (113 West North Avenue), and Mount Royal Station, located on MICA's main campus (1400 Cathedral Street).

MICA's Master of Fine Arts programs were ranked among the top four in the nation by U.S. News & World Report's "Best Graduate Schools" edition. MICA enrolls 228 students in its graduate programs.
