Celebration of New Mural Takes Place Tuesday November 10 at Winfield PAL Center in Randallstown
The Community Outreach Center of the Baltimore County Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (BCAC), in partnership with the Winfield Police Athletic League (PAL) Center and the Baltimore County Police Department, will unveil a mural created by PAL Center attendees and students from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). PAL Center youth were asked to submit drawings expressing their aspirations, hopes and dreams to inspire the MICA artists to create a 6'x 36' mural that represents the young people and the community.
Participants in this unveiling event include: Barbara Crawley, BCAC President and sorority members; professor Paula Phillips and MICA students; students from the Winfield PAL Center; Baltimore County Police Department; and the Baltimore County Council.
The unveiling will take place Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Winfield PAL Center, 8304 Carlson Lane, Randallstown, Maryland.
