"One thing led to another, and 32 years later we got married," mused Christy.
The story began her freshman year when Christy moved into a row house on Mount Royal Avenue and graphic design major Jim was renting an apartment on the third floor. "All the residents were in and out of each other's apartments, and it developed into an almost communal situation," Christy said. "And all these years later we are still connected to a few of the other residents."
They finally decided to get married at City Hall two and a half years ago after living together "forever," she said. Christy works in the Communications Office at MICA while Jim is a retired art director.
