Final presentations for projects funded through the Student Affairs Community Service Fund in 2008 - 2009 will be given on Wednesday, Sept. 30 beginning at 2 p.m. in Brown Center 413. Nine different projects will be highlighted through a series of short, 10-minute presentations given by the lead student coordinators. You are welcome to join at any time during the presentations to listen, learn and ask questions of the presenters. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear the success stories of students who have made significant contributions to the local community, and if you or someone you know is considering applying for a grant this year, this is a unique opportunity to hear about the projects that have recently been completed and how to maximize your chances for success.
The Student Affairs Community Service Fund is dedicated to providing resources for students engaged in service, volunteerism, community art and service learning opportunities, and is for student driven, co-curricular initiatives.
