International Students

Recognized as a premiere college of art and design, the Maryland Institute College of Art is the oldest fully accredited degree-granting college of art in the United States. MICA has an international reputation built upon the excellence of its faculty, the quality of its students, and the accomplishments of its alumni. From New Zealand to Kazakhstan, students from 50 countries and territories have come from afar to enroll at MICA, accounting for nearly 23% of the total student body.

International students are warmly welcomed into the MICA community where the college provides specific services such as international orientation, immigration and academic advising, student connectors, academic tutoring and ESL services.

My First Year at MICA
