Application Requirements for the Graphic Design (MA)

Graphic Design (MA)

MICA's Graphic Design (MA) offers students an intensive immersion in graphic design. Tailored for adults who seek to work with a select group of dedicated peers in a challenging and supportive environment, the program will prepare students for advancing their careers and/or for applying to competitive MFA programs at MICA and other colleges and universities.

Who Should Apply

The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Graphic Design provides intensive immersion in the language and practice of graphic design, and it is designed for professionals and graduates from non-design fields, including liberal arts, fine arts, journalism, architecture, communications, and photography. The program also seeks applicants who studied design as undergraduates yet desire a more comprehensive and rigorous education in the visual language of graphic design.
