Congratulations on your successful application to join MICA's low-residency graduate community! Each summer, Maryland Institute College of Art welcomes more than 60 low-residency graduate students to our campus to further enhance their studio and research practices for intense six-week residencies--I am looking forward to having you join us this summer! Students in both the Art Education (Low-Residency MA) and Studio Art (Low-Residency MFA) will join our graduate community by establishing their studios in our recently-renovated Fred Lazarus IV Center for Graduate Studies, a facility that is now the hub of graduate life on MICA's campus. I know that you may be considering many options for graduate study, and I would enjoy the opportunity to speak with you further about our graduate community and resources to help you determine if MICA is the best fit for you. Over the coming weeks, we hope to connect you with faculty, students and staff to give you an inside look at our unique graduate commuity.
Below, we've compiled some key resources for you as you begin the process--we know that selecting a graduate school is an incredibly difficult decision. The links below and on the left sidebar feature information that I hope will help you with your decision. We also know that selecting a graduate program is an individual decision based on many unique factors: please feel free to contact the Office of Gradauate Admission at any time with any questions you have about the program or the process.
