The 2D Prototyping supports the fabrication of projects rooted in 2D processes. This includes basic binding, letterpress proof printing, and a variety of paper cutting methods. This studio provides a work space for processes not appropriate for a computer lab or print center, but is also clean enough to work with paper effectively.

The resources in the 2D Prototyping Studio include: WireMac wire binder, paper guillotine, Vandercook proof press, light table, 3' x 8' tables with full cutting mats, exacto knives, swivel knife, rotary cutter, scissors, foamboard cutter, cutting rulers, 2-3 hole punch, screw punch, and linoleum cutters, circle cutter, 1" and 2 1/4" button makers, Accuris PowerSHARP 16 30 watt laser engraver, iMac and photo copier.
