Kate Doody

Kate has taught at SUNY New Paltz, Alfred University, and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, as well as numerous community art centers. Kate's sculptures and installations are explorations of the senses that are realized through various material translations and abstractions. Her works have been nationally shown, including a solo exhibition this year at the Foreman Gallery in Oneonta NY. A piece from her "Nesting Series" was recently purchased for the permanent museum collection of the Burchfield Penney Art Center in Buffalo, NY.
