MICA has a strong history of providing opportunities for students that enrich their learning, contribute to the greater good of the community, and prepare them for employment, and other prospects beyond graduation. Whatever your opportunity, we are glad you have chosen to consider MICA as an important resource.
Because we are an academic institution, please take into consideration timing and our academic calendar when making a request. While we consider all requests; we cannot guarantee students for all projects or opportunities. Many of our students are balancing rigorous academic studies, in addition to, campus activities, work, and volunteer commitments.

Definitions for Highlighted Terms
Partnership: A relationship between MICA and one or more outside organizations that is characterized by mutual cooperation and responsibility, and that is built around, and designed to achieve, specific, mutually-beneficial goals.
Funded Partnership: A partnership in which the whole or portions of the project are supported by resources and funding allocated by requesting organization.
Non-Funded Partnership: A partnership in which MICA is expected to incur all expenses.
Volunteer: MICA community member who renders aid, performs a service, or assumes an obligation without pay or college credit. Please note that preference will be given to organizations whose projects or events address social issues or the public good.
Internship: An internship is an official or formal opportunity for a student to gain real-world experience by working alongside professionals in an office or studio setting. Many MICA undergraduate students complete internships for academic credit through the Joseph Meyerhoff Center for Career Development
