Using Blackboard
If you are taking a class and your instructor is using Blackboard, you may log into blackboard to access course material and announcements for your class. Simply open http://blackboard.mica.edu in your web browser and login using your portal user ID and password. Any classes in which you are enrolled will show up in the right column of your Blackboard home page, provided your instructor has activated his/her online course.

Problems?
If you have trouble getting the virtual classroom to function on your computer, make sure you have the ability to display java applets in your browser. On a PC, you'll need the Java Runtime Environment 1.4.1, which you can download here.
If you need help using Blackboard, please feel free to contact the Office of Technology. Most problems (cannot login, cannot find course, etc.) are fairly simple and can usually be resolved with a quick phone call or email.
