How to Access Library Databases from Off-Campus in Four Steps
Step 1
Go to the Library Website: http://www.mica.edu/library
Step 2
Click on Remote Access under LIBRARY LINKS in left sidebar
Step 3
Click on desired database link (Example: Academic Search Premier)
Step 4
Log-in by typing in your MICA username and password. The username and password are the same as the MyMICA Portal log-in and password.
Click on the Login button. You will only need to log-in once.
Your selected database will open and you may begin searching.
To select a different database for searching, close the current database window by clicking on FILE and CLOSE in your browser toolbar. This will bring you back to the Remote Access webpage, where you will still be logged in, and can select another database.
