Most of the books and journals at the Decker Library contain printed reproductions of artwork, and the Media Resources Collection has more than 200,000 slides, plus videos and DVDs on many artists and subjects. How to get started?
- Use the Media Resources Collection Catalog to find slides, videos, and DVDs. Log-In required.
- Use the Library Catalog to search for books on specific artists or subjects.
- Use the Research Databases to find specific artworks reproduced within journals: launch the advanced search screen and type an artist's name into one box and an artwork title into another.
Other resources for finding images include indexes to images in books and journals, image databases, and Internet sources including public domain sources which are free of copyright restrictions. Use these links to explore!
