Community Arts Convening and Research Project
Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) announces the second annual National Convening and Research Project to advance the field of community arts. Funded by the Nathan Cummings Foundation and sponsored by MICA, the gathering will be held at California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB), in the spring of 2009.
How to Participate
To participate, please submit a brief abstract by November 15, 2008, and submit a preliminary text between October 1 and December 1 of 2008.

The Nathan Cummings Foundation (NCF) has provided funding to support the Community Arts Convening and Research Project, making possible this national convening, as well as the research, and publication of resulting research and writing concerning the work of the universities with degree-granting programs in arts and community building, community practitioners of all kinds, and communities and members from across the country.
