Artists Bios The Process Visit
 

Jonathan Rosen studied electronic music, printmaking, and color separation technology at various city and state colleges in the Los Angeles area, and is currently MFA advisor the School of Visual Arts. As a printmaker, he has worked on projects with such artists as Jean-Michel Basquiat. His illustrations have appeared in publications such as the New York Times Sunday Magazine, Time Magazine, and Rolling Stone, as well as in American Illustration, BLAB!, and many other publications. He has had solo shows in Los Angeles, New York, and Venice. Rosen created Ichabod Crane’s journal drawings for Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow, and designed the “bad day on the midway” animation sequence for The Residents.
