grew up in Buffalo, New York, and studied at the Silvermine
Guild Art School. His experiences on the road with the biker gang Road
Vultures pervade much of his comic work. While working on the staff of
the East Village Other he was asked to do an all-comics tabloid entitled
Zodiac Mindwarp, forerunner of Gothic Blimpworks. Rodriguez has been published
in such comics as Zap, BLAB!, Arcade, San Francisco Comic Book, and Tales
of the Leather Nun. He is also one of the founders of the United Cartoon
Workers of America.
