Suzannah Gerber
“Maps help me when they illuminate the unimagined or unknown because I already have a sense of location and place for the real.”
Suzannah Gerber is a junior fiber arts major from Washington, D.C. In Suzannah’s studio work she experiments with mediums such as metal and latex. She also explores psychology and physiological development, as well as utilizes allegory and fairy tales as expressive concepts. In the summer of 2007, Suzannah participated in the Turkey study abroad program. Her work has been exhibited at various places in Baltimore, including the Mount Royal Tavern, Load of Fun, and Lo-Fi Social Club. Her interests also include community projects with the House of Ruth. Currently, Suzannah is the events and exhibitions curator and coordinator for Load of Fun gallery.
