Mike Milano
“I've always found maps beautiful to look at. It’s weird because if you whole and not as a tool, there are so many aspects of art in it.”
Michael Milano is a junior graphic design major from Silver Spring, Maryland. Michael’s experiences at MICA allowed him to learn how to open his mind and create strong concepts in his designs. By studying graphic design theory, he has had the ability to rethink his work. He has also studied urbanism, which has given him a better understanding of cities and the opportunity to reflect on areas where he grew up. Professionally, Michael created the logo for “Dancing Many Drums” for Ryan Fall Dance studio in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduation, Michael hopes to do freelance work or work for a graphic design firm.
